Welcome to the new online gallery of Scottish artist Wendy Donaldson. Feel free to browse through the various paintings that can be found on the website. I am constantly uploading my new works, so please do feel free to check back often. If you are interested in purchasing a painting please send a message to me through the contact page to organise delivery and payment. I generally work in oils and enjoy the fluidity and strength of colour this medium offers.

Commissions Information

I am happy to take commissions. I particularly love portraiture and the challenge of capturing personality as well as likeness. I also enjoy painting animals and landscapes. My commissions have included- family portraits, horses, dogs, houses and ski racing. I have also done commercial work for a property developer and also for science publication. If possible I like to sketch from life and to photograph myself but often it is only practical to work from photographs provided. Location

I am based in Kippen in the beautiful countryside of Stirling. Many of my landscapes are inspired by the local views.I love strong colours and contrasts and fortunately the scenery here provides me with endless opportunities to paint my favourites- snow, mountains and dramatic skies.
